How much does a tattoo cost from you?My starting price for a tattoo is 200 euros. A lot of love, effort and work goes into your tattoo and it is particularly important to me that you will still enjoy your tattoo in 60 years - after all, it is a work of art that will last forever. The price reflects the quality of my service to you and allows me to pursue my art and create something special for you for a lifetime. In response to your request, you will receive further information and a price range for your tattoo. The price depends on the motif, size, body part and time required. The final price depends on the time and effort involved. A small tattoo can sometimes take more time than a large one, as many factors such as skin texture, placement and adjustments to the template can affect the effort. Your final price may be exceeded if the amount of work changes during the appointment, due to missing information about the motif, incorrect size description or changes to the placement. It is therefore particularly important that you tell me your desired size in advance - please make sure to measure accurately (especially for small tattoos). Centimeters make a big difference!

For which days can I make an appointment?I work Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - not on weekends or holidays.

How does an appointment work with you?We start our appointment with a cup of water or tea and discuss your idea and thoughts in detail. I usually have a rough design prepared, which we can then work on, add to and adapt together so that you are 100% happy with the design in the end. I will then print out different sizes for you, which we will hold together in front of the mirror on the desired part of your body. As soon as we have found the perfect size for you, we can get started. During the appointment, everything is allowed and everything is desired: you can relax in silence or tell me about your summer plans - I look forward to any kind of time together and want to give you the space you need to feel comfortable. If you need a break during your appointment, feel uncomfortable or are in pain, please let me know at any time. We can take as many breaks as you need. I am happy to answer any questions, understand any concerns and suffer with you if you are in pain.

How do I make an appointment?I only make quarterly appointments - you can send me your request by email as soon as my bookings are open. You will find the email address here on my website in the 'Appointment' section. Please read all the information there carefully before sending me your request. You will receive an answer to your request within 2-3 weeks.

What should I wear to my appointment? In general: please come as you feel most comfortable. Cozy socks, hot water bottles or whatever else you need to help you relax are very welcome. I advise you to wear dark and comfortable clothes (risk of stains from ink stains). Avoid wearing tight, constricting clothing on the area of your body where you are getting tattooed (such as jeans or tight bras). If you are getting a tattoo on your hip/leg, I recommend wearing very loose pants, a dress or a skirt so that you can expose the area to be tattooed without having to undress. For the back, neck, décolleté and sternum, I recommend a cardigan or a buttoned shirt. A bikini is also good.

I can't make my appointment, what happens now? Please understand that the deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation or rescheduling , except in cases of timely rescheduling at least 7 days before your appointment or upon presentation of a medical certificate in case of illness. When making an appointment, please be sure that you can keep the agreed appointment. Finding an appointment means a lot of work for me, which is why I only accept up to two (timely) reschedulings - if you have to reschedule your appointment more than once, I will keep your deposit after the second rescheduling and you would have to pay a deposit again when we arrange a new appointment for you. If you are more than 20 minutes late on the day of your appointment without prior notice, I will unfortunately have to cancel your appointment and will count it as a missed appointment . In this case, I will also keep your deposit as a cancellation fee and you would have to pay a new appointment deposit of 100 euros if we were to make a new appointment for you. The same applies if on the day of your appointment it turns out that you are ill, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you are pregnant or other circumstances mean that it is not possible to get a tattoo (e.g. sunburn, rash, medication). I am only human and can get sick from time to time. If I have to cancel our appointment with a heavy heart, your deposit will of course be refunded. If we are able to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will remain.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my appointment? When reserving an appointment, I ask you for a deposit. The fee of €100 for final confirmation is only due once your appointment has been set. You have 7 days to transfer the deposit, and the appointment is reserved for you for that period. The appointment deposit confirms your appointment booking and will be offset against the final price of your tattoo. Your deposit is a service fee that serves as security and a cancellation fee for me should you be unable to keep your appointment.

Under what circumstances can I not get a tattoo? You cannot get a tattoo if: You are taking antibiotics or cortisone You took aspirin or ibuprofen on the day of your appointment You are currently undergoing acne treatment (isotretinoin) - even after you have finished your treatment, you should wait up to 6 months before getting a tattoo. However, we can discuss this if you are unsure. You are pregnant or still breastfeeding You have been vaccinated in the last 48 hours You have sunburn at the area to be tattooed You have planned a beach holiday within 3 weeks of your appointment You have neurodermatitis at the area to be tattooed

How old do I have to be at least?I only tattoo people who are at least 18 years old. Parental permission will not be accepted either.
-
How do I prepare for my appointment? Before your appointment you should eat and drink enough and not consume alcohol or other intoxicants for 48 hours . Your skin should not have any self-tanner on it and should be free from sunburn. You can do a gentle peeling a few days before your appointment. You can also moisturize your skin a few days before your appointment. This will make your skin smoother and softer - so the needle can penetrate the skin better and the lines will become more even. Give your body enough sleep, water and food. Avoid too much stress so that you can relax during the appointment, enjoy your tattoo and at the same time associate it with a nice experience. Feel free to take water and snacks with you to your appointment. Sugar can be important in the summer, especially if you have general circulatory problems.

Does my tattoo need to be touched up?The healing process for a tattoo is 6-8 weeks . After it has completely healed, your tattoo will of course no longer look as fresh as it did the day it was done. Fineline tattoos are likely to become a little paler and greyer - but they will not disappear! However, if your tattoo has irregular lines, gaps or missing dots after healing, please send me a photo of it by email (at least 6 weeks after your appointment). Please reply to the last email you received from me. If I think a touch-up is necessary, we can arrange a touch-up appointment to touch up your faded areas. You can arrange a touch-up appointment within 6 months of your appointment - the touch-up is included for that period. After 6 months, a fee of 50 euros will be charged for the touch-up to compensate for the cost of materials and to ensure the appointment is secure.

How is the price for a tattoo calculated? The price for your tattoo depends on various factors. On the one hand, the amount of time, the part of the body and the size of your tattoo naturally play a major role, and on the other hand, the level of experience and quality of the tattoo artist, the demand for tattoos and the independence of the artist. As self-employed tattoo artists, we have very high taxes, such as taxes to the tax office, insurance, material costs, advertising costs, etc. Being a tattoo artist means having many jobs at once. Tattooing is only a fraction of what I have to do to not only create your tattoo, but also to create the space in which you can feel comfortable. In addition to emails, bookkeeping, content planning for Instagram, drawing wannados, preparing your tattoo, maintaining and keeping my studio clean, I also have to be able to give 100% to you and your tattoo every day. This means that I have to be creative, sensitive and highly focused every day. It is particularly important to me that you not only get a perfect tattoo from me, but also that you feel comfortable with me and can enjoy your appointment. That is why I take a lot of time for your request and put a lot of love and time into your design in order to create something meaningful for you that will stay with you for a lifetime. Please remember that a tattoo is something special. A tattoo should be well thought out and takes time; it doesn't have to be a hasty purchase. The time and love that I invest in your tattoo and your appointment will be appreciated by you in the form of the previously agreed price as a return for my work and quality. By paying the price, you enable me to put time, energy and mental strength into my work, and thus the quality of my tattoos and a safe space in my studio.
